What is a loft conversion?
A loft conversion is anything you want it to be from a bedroom, home office, bathroom, shower room, nursery, you name it!

Loft Conversions are an ideal way to increase the living area of your home, without eating into your garden space. They are also a guaranteed way of increasing the value of your home.

We take the pain out of the loft conversion

The bulk of the project is carried out almost exclusively externally through the roof. We aim to minimise the disturbance to you and your home.

Procedures:
We will visit your home, carry out a survey of your property and go through various options. We will arrange for our architect to visit your home.

Stairs:

Top Floor Lofts work with staircase specialists. The Loft Room Staircase Company design and build beautiful staircases for each of our loft conversions. Every staircase is individually made and will match your existing staircase to keep the fluency throughout your home. All staircases comply with strict building regulations.

Building Regulations

Building regulations are a legal requirement which certain standards of quality that work to your house must attain.

All work to your home is inspected by building control, ie, structural work, streets, joistwork, insulations, airflow, staircase and fire safety.

Why get a loft conversion?
  • Half of the heat loss in a typical home escapes through the walls and the loft space.
  • New Modern roof insulation can reduce a typical heating bill by up to 20%
  • Double Glazing cuts the heat loss through windows by half
  • Home energy use is responsible for more than a quarter on the UK's total CO2 emissions.
